I believe as actors, it’s important to advocate for our characters in order to speak their truths. We must do it with all the love and compassion in our hearts. We must come from a place of genuine understanding, and acknowledge that there may not be another opportunity for their stories to be told. We must bear the burden of others’ lives and we must do it in a way that would make them proud.
