It’s important as an actor to advocate for your characters, to tell their truth. You must do it with all the love and compassion in your heart. You must come from a place of deep understanding, and acknowledge that there may not be another opportunity for their story to be told. You must bear the burden of another’s life and you must do it in a way that’d make them proud.
